I have a Studio XPS 16, and I ordered it without the above mentioned WWAN card. I'm going to pick up one on Ebay, I assume it works pretty well.

I'm in Australia, wondering if any other Australian owners have got this WWAN card working with Bigpond 3G broadband.

It looks as though there is no spot to put the SIM card in this module? Is there somewhere else in the XPS 16 that I need to insert the SIM?

    Any thoughts appreciated.

Check inside the battery compartment. That's where the SIM slot is on all the Dell models I know.

Yep, the SIM slot is there. Guess I just need to get the 5530 module now and I'm all set.
