Was someone able to contact Dell and get reliable information whether or not the 1920x1080 matte FHD will be released in Europe?

We are only offerred the more expensive models in Europe?

I found one site in German. Using google translate I was able to deduce that in 2-3 weeks (after 20 january) the 1080p models come to Germany. On the other hand, the Dell support guy on the phone just might have made "reasonable assumptions" and in reality the cheaper 1080p models don't fit Dell's European market scheme, and will not come to Europe at all.

If we have more confirmations, we know it's worth the time to wait some more.

There's not been anything official from Dell and doubt there will be, someone on here said they were told it would be a couple of months for the 1080p screens. I'm sure we'll get them in time as other models have had many more options in the US than here and slowly we've received the additional options which I assume are based on availability and pricing of the parts to Dell.

If it wasn't for my Vaio Duo 11 dying, I would be waiting to see if a 1080p screen comes up within the next few weeks and if it doesn't at least there's a chance of getting a cheap XPS 13 on the outlet.

It seems that in short time (maybe in a couple of weeks) new configurations will be available in Europe (i hope including 1080p). It is not official from Dell chat or site but it came from a Dell forum

Update here from the Netherlands. Dell told us the 1080p edition will be available next week.

I returned my XPS 13 with the QHD+ screen and since bought a Latitude 12 with the 1080p screen and I definitely much prefer it, the screen looks sharp and detailed still but without any of the irritating scaling issues with the QHD+ screen which means to me the 1080p screen looks much better.
