    Hi all,

I've got the new XPS 13 i5 version with 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD - absolutely love this laptop save one potential item.

I don't know if this is a problem or not but it seems off to me. If I put the laptop in standby, it drains pretty quickly. I will come back and do some more documented tests but here is what I've seen:
    - 27% battery 2/15 0950, go to check on 2/17 1100 hours and it's dead, 0% charge. < 48 hours lost 27% charge.
    - from 100% charge, dropped 6% in 8 hours after closing lid - looked to be hibernate as it showed spinning circle on Dell startup screen for 2 seconds and it is enabled to go to hibernate after 180 min (no wake timers).

Anyone see this as normal/abnormal? Seems to me that standby on this should last a lot longer.. I've seen laptops last 1-2 weeks easy before.

    Thanks
    Vinny

I'm wondering the same thing. Though I can only find sleep mode, not hibernate. How did you set it to hibernate after 180 min?
