    Hello
I got this laptop recently and found something odd with the trackpad and would appreciate if anyone else with the same laptop could test to see if the same or similar problem presents itself in their usage:

Basically I have a problem where scrolling up using two finger scroll does not work at all for me or takes me longer to start scrolling when I use the right or left side of the trackpad but works fine in the center.

    1. In Internet Explorer, open a relatively big website to test scrolling
    2. Go to the bottom of the page
    3. Try scrolling up the page using "two finger swipe" on the center of the trackpad and remember the speed at which is scrolls
    4. Do the same but with the two fingers not in the center i.e. Both fingers on any one side but no finger close to the center "white line"

When you do this, does the up scroll not work at all or take longer to kick in than when you use the exact center of the trackpad?
I had similar trackpad problems with surface pro 3 which I returned to get this computer.

I've noticed that unless my fingers are near the center, then the trackpad will sometimes ignore my attempt to scroll.

Ok so that's basically the exact same thing I noticed and wrote about. Thanks for the reply. Guess we'll just have to wait for MS to update their trackpad handling in windows.

Have you tried it with disabled active corners? It works for me fine when they are disabled but does seem to have issues when they aren't I assume because it is sensing for those gestures.

It's a free start menu replacement - my primary use for it is to make Windows 8 usable
