    I just put in a 512GB Samsung SM951 in my new Dell XPS 9350. Coming from a 128GB PM951.

I cannot see the drive in bios, nor in Macrium with Windows PE and Intel Rapid Storage Driver loaded.

Also a clean install of Win 10 with loading the same Intel driver does not work, it cannot find a drive. :|

Is the bios supposed to see the drive? Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

I fixed it - I did not pop the SSD 100% in the slot :| Needed to pop it in when in an angle...
Restoring the clone image now, hope it works. :)

Hi, I am getting around 1600 MB/s both on writing and reading. Intel tool reports 4x PCI lanes enabled. I do think Dell somehow caps the speed a bit, it should be over 2000 MB/s on reading - but hey I am not complaining - its fast enough I believe.

I am not sure whether I need to use some Samsung drivers or not, but so far I am using built in NVME drivers.

Are you sure you had PM951 in there? IIRC dell used non-NVME drives on 128GB versions.
