I got a new XPS 13 last November (Ivy Bridge) and there's a constant issue with the touchpad freezing. If I open Office 2013 programs or HWMonitor the touchpad would be unresponsive for around 10-20 seconds or so, and then return back to normal. The only way to get around this is to use a USB mouse.

I've updated all my drivers and BIOS, anyone know the problem?

use the latest XPS 12 drivers instead, works without problems.
