I just ordered a XPS 1340 fully loaded P9600/LED/4GB/Nvidia 256/256GB SSD/BT option. I used my Dell credit card (logon to Dell.com/DPA5PERCENT)(evalue code 6M278-DYPDFP1)to get 5% plus a $150 gift card. I started with a chat then they called me. After humming and hawing the rep was unable to to a better deal than my saved cart. I said thanks anyway but its out of my budget. He offered to call me back if he could find a better deal.
15 minutes later a supervisor calls back and gives me a $150 discount.
    Net price $1673 +Free shipping+ $150 gift card.
    Works for me.
