    Does anyone know the Dell XPS 14 Ultrabook L421x hard drive height requirement compatibility?

    Will it accept the 9.5mm or 12.5mm height models?

    Or will only the 7mm height models fit in this?

    You CAN fit a standard height laptop hard drive into the XPS 14 Ultrabook L421x!!

    The hard drive bracket screw hole tabs sits about 1/8" above the screw mounting posts, but you can still securely screw it down, just don't screw it down all the way. It will bend the tab slightly.

    The bottom plastic cover will no longer be flush, but it's hardly noticeable.
