    For me no.
    Not FHD
    Displa card Bad GT520M
Left/Top side has a 'air flow' very stupid. Macbook all only on top size.

    New notebook, now is 'ultrabook'.

xps 14z not more special. just bad copycat from macbook pro.
    I not believe the review.

It seems to be powerful for a laptop of its size, but it's a little pricey and it has a terrible screen. I don't know about you, but I'm starting to realize the screen is the number one priority for me and since this laptop has the typical 1366x768 crappy display, it's a deal breaker for me.

Saw this at a local Microsoft Store today.

It's basically the mini-me version of the 15z. It's much lighter though so I don't know what kind of battery life it gets in comparison to its big brother.

I got my XPS14z on Friday and I have to say I am very impressed with both the quality and performance of the laptop.

The build is better than that of the XPS 15z (which I have also owned) and unlike its big brother the chrome trim seems less likely to come off.

Initial battery results are good, I have been installing software and surfing the web for a few hours (just under three) and still have 54% left. I am travelling this week and will try the battery out on various tests this week and also try out the gaming capabilities.

Could you tell us anything about display quality? From different reviews it seems to be the weekest part of 14z. How would you compare it with 15z?

I am finding the screen to be pretty decent, it has less resolution then the other xps but renders the colors nicely and is very bright. Overall I think the screen is of a betterquality than my other xps. I think the resolution is fine for this size screen.
