Hey guys, I just got the XPS 14z and the whites on it seems too bright compared to the rest of the shades. It feels like trying to read text with a flashlight in my eyes. Also I'm getting a headache trying to focus on the words. I wonder if this has something to do with the glass overlay on the screen.

The color accuracy looks about right compared to the acer crystal screens, but the whites are very overwhelmingly blinding. Is this what you guys mean when you say it looks "washed out"?

I have the XPS 17 and the brightest is too bright and it hurts my eyes even though it is matted. I turned the brightness down to half and i feel a lot better. See if that helps? But, you prolly did that haha

Is it too bright or wash out?

    I got my 14z yesterday.

I do find it white hot and losing a very little of those contrast compare to my 15z 1080p.
