I have a dell xps 15 9530 that was not turning on. I opened it up and i plugged in the charger and it caught fire! Now I get 5 beeps when I try to turn it on. There is an I/O board cable that burned up but I do not know what the name of the part is and I can't seem to find a replacement for it. I was just going to replace the motherboard in it and replace the cable. Can anyone help me where to find this cable?
If you go to Page 30 in the owners manual it shows exactly which part I am talking about.

Well, you're in luck that I know the part number for that i/o board cable. It is K036W. Mine broke when upgrading the msata drive. Dell has low stock on these parts and WILL NOT sell one to you no matter how many times you call and bother them about it. They will say there is no stock. Even though it costs $11, I did eventually find a site that resells items internationally from China's version of Ebay and they had that cable. Cost me $55 and I got it a week after I placed the order, http://en.agreetao.com/taobao/view/id/41001240382
Now if it really caught on fire, I think the cable is the least of your problems. The power connector that you plug the cable into looked replaceable and obviously the motherboard. Motherboard isn't cheap and there is no guarantee there still isn't more that needs to be replaced to keep what happened from happening again even if you buy and replace these parts.
