    Hi guys,

TL;DR: When the laptop goes to sleep then wake up, the external screen won't turn on again. I also hate the spacebar.

I've been having a very VERY annoying issue with this laptop since the day I bought it. I have it connected using an HDMI and a HDMI>DVI adaptor to my 22" screen and everytime the laptop sleeps and I try to wake it up, the screen won't turn on again. I have to disconnect the HDMI from the laptop and connected it again. Even turning the screen off/on won't help.

I have the latest bios, I've installed the ISO image from this forum 2 days ago hoping for the best... but nothing has changed. :(

This and the spacebar issue are driving me nuts!! I don't want to return it because I really like the rest of the laptop but it's impossible to enjoy a laptop with such a BIG issue!

    Many thanks,

    Regards!

I'm afraid this seems to be normal for all machines. I use hibernation instead of standby, this way it doesn't happen.

Is this issue specific to the UHD model? I do not have the issue with my FHD screen.

I just bought the same laptop and my spacebar isn't completely lying flat. It slopes down from the back to the front. I'm not sure if this is common for all these XPSs? What don't you like about the keyboard?

Will see what mine does with the external display and sleep today.
