    Hello,

i tried to search forum for following problem, but i couldnt find any related thread.

My problem is that my DELL shuts down after few minutes when i am on battery without AC and doing some heavy usage - for example gaminng.

When i start the laptot with power button it says, that battery is criticaly low even that it was fully charged like 10minutes ago. When i connect AC adapter it immediately shows that battery is charged for like 75% or more.

Do someone have similar issue? Is there some solution for this?

    Thank you for answers guys.

Either a defective battery, or worst than that motherboard. Have a look at the battery health in the BIOS. Phone Dell and arrange a service to replace the battery if need be.

Hi LadikCZ did you fix your xps? what was the problem?
i have this machine for nearly a year and today i faced this problem while i was trying to get a GPU benchmark.
my problem is a little different compared to you, when it suddenly shuts down it refuses to power on unless i plug AC in(after plugging LED blinks 2 times orange and 1 white).

If you don't think it is the battery then google some software to monitor and log the voltages but it does look like the battery craps out under extreme load with your description.
