For those of you who didn't purchase a TV Tuner for your laptop when it was built and want one now:

TV Tuner Kit Dell Part#: DRVW7
Internal Antenna cable for L502X: 72NGK
    MiniPCI card Dell Part#: 4C72K

Here is the best place I found to procure such an item:
    WareSphere Online Store

It includes the needed laptop internal antenna cable, the MiniPCI card, and the external antenna. As a bonus, the WareSphere store allows you to choose the internal antenna cable for 3 different laptops and pay via PayPal. I realize some people don't like PayPal, but then it is up to them to search for the above part numbers to find alternatives.

    Hi guys!

New user (of the forum AND Dell!!!). Thank you so much for sharing all this. Great resource.

OK, so I've got the backlit keyboard! I've got a new SSD! I've installed windows 7 ultimate 64-bit, as a "native vhd" on "bare metal"...

Struggling with the "find the drivers" game.

My bro burnt a disc (900mb on a DVD) with some stuff (usb, ethernet, wifi, nvidia)... some worked, some didn't, but at least I'm connected, surely Dell's tag detect / auto-install will take care of things... hmm.

Still don't have the advanced mouse options (Synaptecs).

I've got my old HD in an external enclosure, via USB. If I go to dell>drivers, I see 14 entries, each with a readme. Thinking about grabbing these and seeing where I stand (bro advised that hardware that you don't have won't install, so you can't install anything that you weren't meant to install...not convinced. wi-max errors and wi-di errors)

the utility key brings up the windows mobility center, and it's incomplete

    maybe just the mouse missing?

I don't need the turbo monitor, right?

Can I use the extreme cpu tuning utility?

Thanks guys, back to the install!
