    Hello,

I was wondering if I could get some help on an issue I have.

I bought a 2nd hard drive caddy for my laptop and it arrived today, when I opened up the cover at the bottom of the laptop I tried to unscrew the screw that holds the optical drive in.

I managed to strip the screw head and now it's all round and seems like it doesn't have any grip.

I did try different screw drivers and did put a lot of force in which I shouldn't have but luckily the laptop is not broken. How can I get the screw out?

Any help would be much appreciated

    Thanks

    Wazzy

Never mind, I got it out.

I used a power drill with the smallest drill bit and drilled a hole in to the middle of the screw head, and then got a bigger size drill bit and put the drill in to reverse function and it screwed right out.
