Dell XPS 15 L502x and internal 3g hsdpa card

Hell gents,

Does anyone know if the Dell XPS 15 L502x has any internal 3g hsdpa capabilities as I don’t want to be using a external usb 3g dongle?

I’ve been advised by a third party that I can use a Ericsson F3507G: http://www.justop.com/catalog/mini-...nd-module-card-for-dell-toshiba-acer-....html

So my questions are...

Does the Dell XPS 15 L502x have a PCI Express Mini Card available slot?

Would there be a problem/issue with having the Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6230 (2x2 b/g/n+ Bluetooth Combo Card) installed aswell as the Erricson 3507G the same time.

Will this Ericsson F3507G work on the Dell XPS 15 L502x, I have read it’s the same as the Dell 5530. – compatibility on the site of the 5530 lists latitudes and precision laptops only.

Does it have a 3g antenna behind the lcd screen?

I was told that you couldnt have wifi, bluetooth, and WiMax you had to choose between bluetooth and WiMax

 

XPS15 (L502X) has mobile broadband included in many nation like UK, Germany and Italy.

 

The service guide for the L502x says

"Your computer has one full Mini-Card slot and one half Mini-Card slot:

* One full Mini-Card slot — supports a Wireless Wide Area Network (WWAN) or TV tuner module.

* One half Mini-Card slot — supports a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) and bluetooth combo card or Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMax) card."

You have no TV Tuner - suggesting you have space for a WWAN card.

It also suggests though that the same antennae are used for WLAN and WWAN - which seems odd. It may be that there are two pairs of white and black antennae, one in each card space.

Which I think is why a TV Tuner isn't an option for those of us in those countries...

 

My order confirmation (UK order) states 3G/HSDPA module...I didn't select it as an option - comes as standard. Which is nice..
