I just recently bought an XPS 15 that came with the standard Intel Centrino 1000 Wireless N Card. The problem is, my home's wireless N network doesn't even appear in my wireless connections. I was wondering if I needed to change my computer/wireless card settings to show it, or if it is even able to pick up the N signal. Hopefully some more learned computer users will be able to shed some light on my dilemma.

Update to the latest Intel driver?

Check if the antennae are connected, if the Wifi card is in Windows will see it and install drivers.

    Check SSID on your router.

I have the latest driver and the antennae are connected, but how do I go about checking the SSID? I also should have mentioned that I'm getting the G signal, and that my Desktop gets both the N and G signals; so I was thinking it's a problem with the card.
