My 9550 finally arrived yesterday. From the moment it first powered on the fans went on full blast, and they haven't stopped for a second since. I immediately updated the BIOS, I've tried turning off Turbo Blast, throttling the processor maximum state, setting thermal profile to Quiet in Dell Command and even reset Windows 10 and installed all updates. They have continued at full blast through all of this, even in BIOS mode. The temperatures are all reported < 30C and System Assist tool gives everything a Pass.
I've raised an issue to Dell and am guessing it is just faulty hardware but I wanted to check: Has anyone else had this issue?

Yes I have this issue. There are threads on the Dell community forums here: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/laptop/f/3518/t/19662879

Oddly enough, it started after updating the bios to 1.0.7, but that could just be once I first noticed it. Just out of curiosity, where did you download Dell command from? The drivers page for the 9550?
