    Will this void warranty?

    Got a tech coming tomorrow to replace some parts, should I put back the old hard drive?

    Nope the hard drive is a CRU (customer replacable unit) and will not void the warranty. However if it fails during Dell warranty, for obvious reasons they will not replace it. I am also moving this thread to the Dell XPS subforum.
