I just got a Dell XPS 1530 and it has been barely a month.

I am already facing problems with the DVD/ RW.

I get SESSION FIXATION ERRORS. I have tried doing everything - to no avail.

I don't expect this from Dell.

Can anyone suggest what to do?

I would guess one of the following:-

    1) your hardware has failed
    2) you are using different brand of disks that your burner doesnt like
    3) you have installed additional CD/DVD writing software that is causing the problems.

I have already tried (2) and (3) so it is definitely my hardware. Why does Dell ship such a crappy drive? I had never even heard of this company.
