This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hey all! I am currently having issues with my lan/ethernet connection. I plug my computer in and the computer recognizes that there is internet and a connection, but when I open a browser, it says that i cannot connect. My wireless works just fine. There seems to be a problem with my plugging in. Any ideas?

    Are there any tests I can run to determine if this is a hardware or software issue?
