I'm currently using a Dell XPS 1530 installed with an Intel(R) Wireless Wifi Link 4965AGN card and a D-Link DGL-4300 router. I'm running Vista Home Premium on the laptop.

The problem I'm experiencing is that more often than not, while I'm surfing the net, my wireless connection will drop automatically by itself, and then reconnect successfully by itself. Each time before it disconnect, I noticed that the network icon on the bottom right side of the screen will display a logo that indicates limited connectivity. I've already installed the lastest firmware for both the router and the wireless card. Does anyone know what could be the problem?

There may be too many wireless using the same channel around you. Survey the area around you and determine which common channel everyone is using and then set your wireless channel to something else try changing your wireless channel to either 1, 6 or 11 co'z those are normally the channels that don't ovelap.

Also, try to connect thru wired LAN just to make sure that your router itself is not dropping connection from your DSL/Cable modem.

Hmm... I'll try that, but I don't think that's the problem, because my roommate is on wireless too but he doesn't experience any problems...
