Hey i'm new to this site =)

I just orderet an Dell XPS 16 with a WLED 1080P screen and i should have it on the 25. of August.
Then yesterday i went to dell's side and now they offer the same laptop at same price but with the RGBLED screen instead.
It seems its a new RGBLED screen as its not 16" but 15,6" as the WLED screen.
I dunno what to do. Would you guys return the laptop and order a new one with the RGBLED instead? i read alot of reviews and they say its an fantastic screen.
But then i seached the internet, includeing this forum and it seems that alot of ppl have problems with getting the RGBLED to display the right colours.
I'm gonna use the pc for school (witch include Photoshop and 3DMAX) and for gaming when i go to lanparty's.

    Best Regards

    Kasper Karstensen

i think u can cancel your order and order with the RGBLED if u want to.
it's pretty strange though that it's a 15.6" RGBLED, i think nobody here heard about this, i would make sure if it's not mistyped. if it's a new model, u have to decide if u want to try it since nobody knows about this screen.. i suppose it could be not bad.

Yeah never heard of it too.:S
On which dell site did you see that?
Cuz I believe the offers vary from country to country.

well i guess you could phone them to rectify your order or cancel the order and place a new one and as soon as you receive your dell, you show us pics of it!!

It seems a weird error within Dell's ordering system, as I keep receiving orders wich state WLED instead of 15.6 RGB-led. The salesman reported it to his manager now wich is investigating this issue as we speak.

Will keep u guys updated ofc. ;)

U should call them instead yes, and ask them to investigate it. U might end up getting the RGB-led afterall. :)

I just spoke with customer support. They weren't exactly comprehending what I was trying to tell them (sounded like some asian call center). I decided to cancel rather than having to deal with the whole return procedure.

Just af FYI for anyone else: The initial confirmation of receipt of order stated the monitor as the 15.6 RGBLED but the proper order confirmation (the pdf) stated it as 15.6 WLED.
