    Hi all,

Loving my XPS so far. Only one minor issue I've had with it, and am wondering if anyone else has experienced the same.

I'm on the 1600 x 900 display (and perfectly happy with it, thanks!), and after installing and setting up Win 7 x64 I installed the latest beta drivers from the Nvidia site for the GT 555M. All other drivers have been installed in the correct order.

In any game using the Nvidia GPU, I get CPU spikes which cause a half-second display lag. This happens every 10 seconds or so. I've yet to actually roll back the drivers.

Just checking to see if anyone else has had the same!

What game? Are you sure you specified the game to use Nvidia ONLY?

i'm using the beta drivers (301.24) and i haven't had any issues with them. they're actually the best ones i've used. so try rolling back to older drivers to make sure that's the real problem.

also, since you just reinstalled, make sure u have the latest DirectX installed. its an easy thing to forget to install.

another thing you can try is disable core parking (google it)
and make sure you are on High performance in power options
