The Samsung 850 1TB 2.5" SATA SSD is not showing up in BIOS or anywhere else in the machine such as in Disk Management. What can I do about it?

    The machine is Dell L702x.

Necro. Have you tried the modded BIOSes? They might help. If not, best guess is the drive is faulty if the laptop sees other drives.

Are you sure the SSD works? Did you try it on another computer?

It has been 6 months since I posted and I forgot what I did, but it does see it.

It works. Now I moved the primary drive that was in there, the SSD/HDD hybrid 750GB drive, to the secondary place. Now the strange thing is, when looking at Disk Management I see one letter assigned to that HDD and when looking at EasyBCD, I see another letter. And I cannot make a dual boot, or a clone via Macrium reflect.
