    Hey Guys,

Just installed my SSD (have no idea what I'm doing in terms of drivers - my screen resolution is messed up..ect..I'll figure it out though)

My question is, now that my SSD is set up, can I insert the original 750gb HD and load that up. Also, once its loaded, if I install all of my programs (excel, work applications) on my SSD and save files to my HD, will there be issues loading the files from the HD using a program/application downloaded on the SSD?

Or am I going to need to drag the files over to the SSD everytime I need to use them.

This is a good place to start when doing a fresh install. Follow the post a few threads down:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/dell-xps-studio-xps/576836-dell-xps-17-l702x-clean-install.html

Yes, You can now put your spare 750Gb HDD in the spare slot, I would suggest formatting the drive and solely using it as a data drive.

No problem installing applications on SSD and accessing files stored on the 750GB drive. Just keep an eye on your SSD space, you only really want your most used apps/games on there. I would install any other programs on your 750Gb drive.
Just ensure you change the drive letter when you want to install an app or game on the 750Gb drive as it will default to the SSD (C: drive)

Ensure you also optimise Windows 7 for use with an SSD. Here are two good guides to follow:
