    Guys,i was looking to buy Dell XPS 1730 from outlet!but today i noticed that they have removed the ones with sli 8800gtx from the list and that option from filter!and i want to know is this for some time due maintenance or something and they ll get it back soon ,or this is forever and they ll never offer it again???? :confused: man,i really want one! :( :( :(

    Maybe the outlet don't offer the 8800gtx, but the Dell custom order site does:

    Its probably because there is no inventory or like you say, a maintenance issue. I have seen quite a few XPS 1730s on the outlet with the 8800 gtx card, but they tend to get bought up very quickly because of the massive discounts.

    8800 won't last long in delloutlet. You have to be on the look for it.

    8800 GTX has been having some issues across the board. the vendors are releasing new drivers soon though so you should be fine. I dont know why they would stop selling them though. must be out of stock.

    Damn skippy! See my 1730 in sig - got it for $2k in the outlet. You need lots of patience and some luck to find the 8800's on refurb systems. I specced my system and it was $3900 new. There isn't even a scratch on mine - looks, feels, and smells brand-spankin new! I HIGHLY recommend the outlet....

    in their filter they had an option of 1000mb video card,now max is only 512...sad...but lets hope!

    EDIT:hey people!8800 is back! life is good again! :) thank you all for your help!
