I'm starting to see a few reviews of the refreshed XPS 13 9360 (with Intel Kaby Lake) show up on the interwebs and just creating a review compilation post here, I will update as more reviews come up. Also included are the pros/cons each author has noted.

I'm considering buying the updated XPS 13, if I move ahead with purchase I'll be sure to post my own first hand thoughts and review. If anyone else out there has the new XPS 13 please offer your thoughts!

Compilation of the pros/cons so far.

    Pros:
    • Superb battery life
    • "Good" 7th-generation Core performance (Kaby Lake)
    • Excellent Wi-Fi range
    • More ports than on competing laptops
    • Strong carbon fiber build
    • New Rose-Gold color
    Cons
    • Awkward webcam placement
    • Not as thin and light as some competitors
    • System fan is often running, even without much CPU load.
    • Coil whining still there
    XPS 13-9360 Product Page:

The bottom line seems to be this is a marginal improvement and refresh, with some things that should have been fixed (such as coil whine) still there, but all the great features that everyone loves are of course still there and it seems a slightly better battery life and processing power.

The biggest takeaway that I found was that the i7-7200u outpaces the i7-6500u of last generation. I will probably spring for an i5 this time around.

Anyone know if the FHD model still has CABC?

The fan is nitpicking. I barely hear mine.
