    Hello all,

This is to confirm that my 2410m chipset sandybridge notebook is currently operating with my new Kingston 8GB HyperX 1600MHz ram kit. On Intel, it mentions this chipset only supports up to 1333MHz. However, I managed to install 1600MHz without a problem. In fact it is very fast and stable. I've turned off paging completely.

I am so surprised how fast it got I can't imagine what would happen if I had SSD as well.

Nice timings! I don't recall what mine were but I don't think they were that low.

Your chipset is actually the HM67 chipset, and your processor is the Intel Core i5-2410m :)

I've been running the Kingston HyperX 1866MHz 8GB for a while now with no issues at all. If you're interested there is more info here.

    Cheers

Wow do you mean I could run 1866 MHz as well?

    There it says:
Processor i7-2630 or lower, downclocked to 1333.

This is why I felt like this was a miracle lol

Ya, my CPU only mentions 1600Mhz as the max memory speed on Intel's site.

Technically there is a difference, but not a real world noticeable difference
