This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Dell XPS L702X sluggish wireless most of the time

    I have a brand new laptop, proxessor 2720, 12G, full HD.
    Cable internet works fine, but wireless works fine only 10 percent of the time.
    I cancelled any automatic updating, checked and there is no viruses.

    I formatted both discs and installed from scratch.

    Other laptops in the house work wireless in the house all the time.

    My laptop works wireless fine on "safe mode with internet".
    Does anybody have an idea?
