    After messing around for about a month and destroying a heat pipe
    I finally am satisfied with my Dell not overheating anymore.
    It was time consuming task to say the least!
    It took 4 pieces of aluminium stock a custom cut one for the GPU.

    Below the main 1/8 aluminium back plate and 2 power supply heat
    sinks were used, I played with cheap heat sink grease and Artic Silver
    5 there was a 1 C difference at idle between the 2 heat compounds.
    I did make my own copper shim from a old heat sink and put a small
    drop on both sides of the shim then 4 drops to the new heat sink
    mod then 6 more the the new 1/8 back plate.

    The last mod was hard-wiring of the fan to run @ 4.91 volts when
    the Laptop is powered on - note the fan stays on all the time!

    I do have a spare fan in case it goes out, the last mod would
    be to do a switch on the fan to lower the voltage to 3 volts.

    Room Temp was about 24-25C - 75F

    Idel Temps @ 5 minutes
    GPU = 47C
    Core = 31c

    Prime 95 Temps @ 5 minutes
    GPU = 64C
    Core = 60C

    Here is screen shot as I did this test out on my patio this morning.
    Outdoor ambient temp was about 19C.

    Only thing that bothers me is the fan noise - I am going to make a fan controller next for this Dell.

    Idel Temps @ 5 minuites

    GPU = 37C
    CORE = 23C
