    Hello,
I've just re-imaged my M1330 again with XP (factory bought with Vista but been running XP for 3 years)
However- now it is unable to go into standby or hibernate. The menu buttons are shaded out and shortcuts do not work

I guess that I am missing a driver. Do you have any idea which one, and where to get it from? There was a similar previous post- but this did not resolve my query

    Thanks in advance :)

You have to enable hibernate in XP, it is disabled by default on a fresh install, perhaps your image didn't have this setting set. It's buried somewhere under the advanced power settings iirc.
