Hello all,
i recently got my XPS M1330 reformatted, and ever since then, the speakers haven't been working. i've tried a lot of things, but it turns out that one of the two speakers is "not plugged in". Apparently, that's why no sound os coming from my computer
I'm not very computer-savvy so I'm not sure how to fix that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My xps has no speaker problems, even though i brought mine from a refurbished laptop dealer. I seem to have a microphone problem though, does yours have any problems with that?

2.1 speaker system? Which OS, and what drivers are you using?

How do you know that one of the speakers isn't plugged in? Can you actually play music, etc and hear it out of the one speaker or is it just PC beeps you're getting. After you formatted, did you make sure you installed the correct Dell sound driver?
Like Sesshomaru said above, what OS are you installing and how did you go about installing the dell sound drivers for the M1330. Get back to us with that and we'll try to help you further.
