im almost ready to purchase the 1530
just wondering with the intake fan on the bottom, if i put it on my lap is it going to overheat and turn off like my current laptop - toshiba ?
also whats the difference between the 2 batteries? i dont mind plugging it in, but is the bigger one much heavier?

Congrats on deciding to purchase a 1530.

It shouldn't overheat from what I know.

The 9 cell battery is bigger and will stick out also it weighs more. The added benefit is more power. I recommend both the 6 cell and 9 cell. If you will only use around your place and always have it on the adapter then just get the 6 cell.

    thanks for the help
for anyone that already owns the 1530, does it turn off when it is on your lap?
has it turned off for no reason at all yet?
