Hi. I've had my Dell XPS M1530 since February and I noticed that the battery LED light on the bottom of the laptop (not the windows screen) is blue but then it is followed by blinking "red" lights and then returns to blue lights for a second and then red again. It is continuous. I checked the power and it was already 100% charged and AC connected. When I take the AC out, the computer turns off. All i can think of is the battery being totally done for. Any real idea about what could be wrong?
    Thanks.

okay it says, "Your battery is performing normally".
it doesnt make sense because the battery says its at 100%, but laptop shuts off instantly when i take the AC plug out.
    any other ideas?

How hot does your M1530 get? Heat may prevent the battery from working properly.

Try turning it off completely, remove the battery, leave it be for five minutes or so, and see if you can boot it off of battery.
