Hi, I'm currently using dual-monitor with my xps m1530 and Sony bravia 40' hdtv on XP OS.
I would like to know if I can only have sound output from the TV, and turn off on my notebook.
I've turned off all sounds from option. It would only disable window xp related sounds, but not actual sound from...for ex) watching movies through media player.
Please advise if there is any way to only have TV sound output and disable on my notebook.
    Thank you.

You might be able to temporarily disable your laptop speakers, while the audio out would still function...
And you could also manually disable the Windows XP sounds.
Both of these would be in the Control Panel.

Wow! thanks for quick reply :)
I've checked control panel again carefully, and noticed PC Spk Mute option at Device volume advanced option.
    Thanks~
