I upgraded to Windows7 Professional x86 and ever since I have had issues with USB connected devices. My android phone just rapidly connects and disconnects until I unplug it, I have some digital turntables that work in reverse only on my laptop, and other issues.

I'm not overly computer savvy so any tips or help you can give would really help me out. I don't know if i need updated drivers or if I should just bite the bullet and go back to Vista. Thanks for your help.

Is that the only change you made? Did you install any other software before the USB ports stopped working?

Have you tried installing any Intel chipset drivers?
