    Ok...Ive never used directx 10, so Im a newbie for sure on that side.... I would just like to know, will my XPS M1530 with Nvidia 8600gt be compatible with DirectX 10?

    As of today, you can only have Vista, so yes, your XPS will be DX10 compatible.

    As a side note, the 8600m GT isn't powerful enough to really get the benefits of DX10, you need something more powerful to see the difference between DX9c and DX10
