I have a few questions, since I'm attempting to replace a dead video card to fix my Dell M170. I want to replace the 7800 with the 6800 here: http://cgi.ebay.com/256MB-Video-Card-nVidia-6800-C5846-Dell-XPS-M170-9300_W0QQitemZ250470736099QQcmdZViewItemQQptZPCC_Video_TV_Cards?hash=item3a513820e3&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12|66%3A2|39%3A1|72%3A1205|293%3A1|294%3A50

So do I need to flash the BIOs to downgrade or am I good to go?

Bump, can anyone please say how to downgrade an M170 with 7800 to 6800?

Would I have to do a BIOs flash or do I just change out the two cards?
