    Hi,

I have recently purchased a Microsoft Bluetooth Intellipoint Explorer mouse for uuse with my laptop. I'm new to bluetooth so my explaination may be limited :). Running windows XP, 2.16GHz, 2GB RAM, Bluetooth 355 module.

I have loaded the software per the cd, rebooted my machine and succesfully loaded the mouse. Once ive changed the settings within the mouse options menu (ie fast movement), applied and saved changes, when I shut down the machine and log back on, I have no bluetooth mouse unless I run through the whole process of searching for bluetooth devices via my inbuilt touchpad, finding the mouse, refreshing, etc etc etc. Seems to take forever.

I've also purchase a DiNovo Edge for presentation purposes and this doesnt even connect - comes up with a 'pairing' code that never works.....

Is this the normal process? If so, does anyone agree with me that this 'new technology isnt that great in the technological age'. I previously had a USB dongle for wireless mouse which never faulted - merely inseted the dongle and I was away.

Any help would be greatly appreciated....oh, and please reply in relatively plain english as Im no technophobe.... :)

    Cheers
