Have any of you put DDR2 800 PC6400 RAM in to your XPS 1730 and if you did, is the mainboard registering it at 800 or underclocking it to 667?

The chipset, PM965 only supports up to 667MHz. So, it will downclock. Further, the chipset FSB is 800MHz, and with dual channel, each RAM module only runs at 400MHz (theoritically). The dual channel DDR2 667MHz is already an overkill (1333MHz in dual channel). DDR2 800MHz, makes absolutely no difference and only waste your money.
