    hi guys i have a dell xps 24
    and the blu-ray drive wont read any discs at all


    it spins the drive up you can here it attempt to read then it just starts clunking like something is wrong and stops spinning the disc

    i can see the laser is working from the back of it as it starts of bluish red and then red only and that stays on as if its attempting to read but then it stops spinning and does nothing but the clunking sounds

    and stops with no disc error

    im stuck now unable to reinstall windows as the drive wont work any ideas if the drive is dead ??
