Dell XPS Studio 16: Black or Merlot Red?

I'm pretty sure I'm going to order this week...but I can't decide if I should get the black or the red. Opinions?

 

My color choice would be Merlot Red, but that's just me

I just like that color on lappy's, I don't know why....!!

When you think of the SXPS 16...what color comes to your mind at first thought?

I think Artic White looks the best something about it.

 

black for sure, i have both the white and black version.
on white one, the keyboard and bottom and even the edges of e2e cover are still of piano black, i think black lid goes well with the the theme of whole computer.

 

Black has a traditional look. I would still have a tough choice tho. I got mine back in July when it was just black vs merlot red. I went with black b/c it has the sleek classic pro look.

I would have liked the Red, too b/c it'd be something refreshing to look at sitting on my desk. also has class.

Now that they have the White, I would have chosen White, even more refreshing yet!!! Macs have 'taken' the glossy white look, and for a Dell SXPS to have the glossy white is just like blowing the macs out of the water =P The only worry I may have with the white is the risk of the leather part of the white getting dirty.

Red. I told my girlfriend I was going to get red and she looked at it and said "that's a nice color, I would get that for myself, but you should get black because it's more manly". Black is a always a safe color but for me, red is risky. I might love it, but I could also see myself wishing I got black if it's "too loud" of a color and people comment on it, in a negative way.

I guess I'm looking for feedback from other people before I buy it.
