2 years XPS service and 2 years NBD service.
Had 2 NBD calls, first one he fried the mobo, second he forgot to reattach the USB board, so only the right USB port works currently.
Had several issues and finally got it escalated upto 'Sunny'.
Caught me off-guard at work and seems like an end of the road kind of thing.
They sent me an incomplete set of parts to make the repair I've had with my left speaker which has survived through 3 speaker replacements, palm rest replacement, mobo replacement, AC adapter replacements, and as soon as I can get to where I had the parts mailed, it will survive through another mobo, palmrest, AC Adapter, HDD, and maybe a fan and heat sink.
I'd like to get rid of the NBD support and extend my 2-year XPS support where they just send me parts as long as that credit will get me, and maybe some more if the cost comes close to an additional year.
Any thoughts? Ideas?
Anything?

Personally, I'd email [email protected] about your issues and it'll be answered by the executive consumer resolutions team.
They usually call within a day or two and are fantastic about replacements or getting your issue fixed. Pretty sure it's US only.
They replaced my Studio XPS 1640 with an XPS 17 (long story short).
If you need more help or info, let me know. There are plenty of warranty replacement threads as well. Check out http://forum.notebookreview.com/del...studio-xps-1640-45-47-replacement-thread.html
It may not be for your system specifically but there is a MOUNTAIN of great information on how to contact Dell and tell them exactly what you want.
Hope this helps!

Thanks much for the info.
I leave the country in...11 days.
So I wanted to be sure to have it.
I was too late to refund the NBD, so I just bought an extension into rapid response for 3 years (5 years total) for 160.9x usd.
