Is this good? I was most concerend about my upgraded hardrive and processor since I am a noob, will they be compatible with eachother? Video card? Do I need built in wireless usb capability? I assume it means I can just use usb headphoens without haveing to hook in a wireless usb receiver.

one more thing, LED display or HIdef LCD?

    Thanks!

I can do the 7200rpm but I would have to downgrade the GB from 320 to 160. Should I do that or keep it how it is?

    thanks

What is the price on that system?

I would recomend the Intel wireless card.

I would keep the 320. Those two are about the same speed.

    Allright, thanks everybody

I now have 3gb of ram as opposed to 4 since that can easily be upgraded and it won't be taken up that fast when I first get it. I did this so I could get the intel wireless card

Size: 320GB 5400rpm SATA Hard Drive [Included in Price]
Speed: 160GB 7200rpm SATA Hard Drive Free Fall Sensor [subtract $25]

Saving money is always good but which should I go with. Someone said they are the same, if they are then I would like tos ave money and downgrade.

Should I get wireless usb built in?

@mattocs: Price right now is 1,733$ after a 500$ rebate or something but i get 150$ instant savings and i found a 25% off so total right now is 1,329$

I was told a 320gb 5400 is actually faster than a 160gb 7200 because teh data is more densely packed on the disc so the head doesn't have to move as far to read more data

I had everything much nicer but I clicked on a different link so it all went by by & I don't feel like making it nice again... sorry

the main difference between the two is

either get the better OS & save $20

or get the crappy OS & spend $20 bucks more & get 90 watt battery instead of 65, Adobe products, two year in-home & jojack protection

This is what I've built & having a hard time deciding :p

I think the warranty is worth the extra $20. And Vista Home Premium isn't that bad.

Also, unless you getting 64-bit edition I suggest saving the $50 & getting 3gb or ram instead of 4 considering the puter will only use 3.5 if you buy 4gb worth of sticks :p

I got 4GB because I like knowing my memory is dual channel, although I have read the performance difference is very very low.
