    Hi,

I have a M1730 from a couple of years ago, and it does not seem possible to turn the backlights off (the lights either side of the Dell sign on the top(back) of the laptop. I've looked in Dell Quickset Gaming and they are all set to off, what am I missing or what is wrong?I tried updating Dell Quickset too.

    Thanks

Another method is to go to your BIOS and turn off the lights.
