Hi guys. As you can see above my laptops screen has those coloured white lines running across the bottom.

At first it was only very thin, but has progressively gotten worse. Also, the lines change colors and pattern as I open different windows/videos etc...

What I'm trying to diagnose is whether I need to replace/reconnect the cable or the entire LCD screen. Any suggestions?

At one point it was flickering slightly at the upper edge of hte lines, but no amount of movement or shaking would stop the flickering. There's nowhere i can push to try to make the lines go away... at the moment they just stay there right from boot up.
