I have just been offerd one of these m2010,s via contact at dell, i checked the review out here
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myB1q1mFXWk

i have since found out that dell have discontinued them???
    any body know why?
they were the flagship for dell or so the advertizing said,
they even had one featured in the iron man film, belive it was in tony starks office?
havent seen the film so dont know how true it is
i am at loggerheads now as to should i or shouldnt i get it, according to my contact it is fully loaded, max h/drive in raid config, max memory (4 gig i think) carry case (more like a suitcase on wheels, but cost £150)all new and boxed warentted by dell themselves, parts & labour, and yet discontinued and i cannot find out why
any imput welcomed ,before i spend a lot of money!!

What price do they want for it? It was never really a flagship model at all. It looks neat, but it is overpriced and not really a laptop.

That thing is HUGE and heavy

at least the one that I saw had some non impressive specs
    (2.0 dual core, 80 HDD, 2gigs ram)

I don't know what EXACTLY your looking for...... i mean it MIGHT be for you but in MY opinion for the price I would get anything else

well work as a nightclub dj, so working in the dark (so to say) the thing about the xps is the way it looks, and the way it can handle duel display, (video Dj ) dont know if you frequent nightclubs but looks are everything, no good walking in with a mini pc or standard lappy, dont look good, now the m2010 has the looks the blue lights large display ,can walk away and control it via remote, (which has the display on it same as lappy, so music wise is dead handy, can be somewhere else and still control it via bluetooth, want a certain track can lookit up on remote and the tell main unit to play it, no thats cool ,thats whats selling me on it but what is worring is the fact they discontinude it
oh and as for the price looking at £2500 deliverd +3 year s fixing
