    Dell battery extender

    i did a factory restore recently on my studio xps 16 and i dont have the battery meter/extender program. can someone tell me how to get it back or send it to me. it would be much appricative. also is there a way that i can adjust the brightness depending on if im plugged in or not?
    64 bit if it matters or not

    Are you using Vista? If so, look down at the bottom right in your taskbar. There should be a little battery-like icon there. It allows you to access power plans, which are the built-in power management modes of Vista. You can click on that icon and select a power plan, or click More power options and customize the existing plans and create new plans as you wish.

    You can specify a default brightness for AC/battery modes there.

    never mind i found the update on the dell web page
