Was it a part backorder issue?Usually dell will tell you why it took longer, it's usually for a certain part, like 3d or wi hd, just wondering because Im waiting on a replacement new build in production since nov 1st.I usualy get my units in 7 business days with NBD shipping.

Were you asked to consent to the delay? I am told that they need to have this consent in place to delay your order (FCC mandate).

Mine is supposed to deliver on 11/10, and when I called the EPP services on Friday, I was reassured that all was on schedule, and that I would definitely have my laptop by 11/10 (even though earlier the delivery date was 11/14). They upgraded my shipping to overnight for free. I really hope it doesn't get delayed any more.

PS: also she put in an "Expedite order" instruction on the order. Let's see if that actually means anything. What I am saying is, it might be beneficial to call.

it's an estimated delivery date so they can change it if they want without any legal repercussions

mine was a delay on the backlit keyboard
